BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHURCH
The move of God which gave birth to this Church began to manifest on the last day of the annual revival session of the First Baptist church, Broad Street, Lagos in
1966. Consequently, this Church was planted on November 26, 1966 with the first worship service held on that day
We are Baptist. The denomination came to Nigeria from America (Southern Baptist Convention) in 1850 through the Missionary efforts of Thomas Jefferson Bowen.
His activities and those of his successors (Both Nigerians and Americans) resulted in the formation of the Nigerian Baptist Convention in 1914.
